Early life of Mahant Baba Balak Nath
Mahant Baba Balak Nath was born on 16 April 1984 in a Yadav family in Kohrana village of Behrod tehsil of Alwar district of Rajasthan. His father’s name is Subhash Yadav and his mother’s is Urmila Devi. Mahant Baba Balak Nath’s father Subhash Yadav, before the birth of Mahant Baba Balak Nath, promised Baba Kheta Nath that after having a son, he would dedicate his son for service in the ashram.

When Baba Balaknath turned 6 years old, his parents sent him to Mahant Khetanath in Matsyendra Maharaj Ashram. Because Mahant Baba Balak Nath was born on “Guruvar”, Khetanath named him Gurmukh. Mahant Baba Balak Nath stayed in this ashram only for 6 months, after that Khetanath sent him to a monastery in Nathawali Theri village of Hanumangarh district along with Alwar MP Mahant Chandnath for education. Seeing his childhood, Chandnath named him Balak Nath.
On 29 July 2016, Mahant Chandnath organized a ceremony in which Baba Balaknath was declared his successor, in which Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Baba Ramdev also participated.

Followed the strict rules of the Ashram, and did rigorous penance and meditation. Seeing his work, he was later given the opportunity to visit and serve in the ashrams of other Nath sects across the country. In those days, he toured different parts of the country and understood the civilization and culture of India. In 2017, Mahant Chandnath died due to a long-standing illness, after which on 17 September 2017, Mahant Balaknath was declared the successor and made the Vice Chancellor of Baba Mastnath University.

Baba Balaknath left his home at the age of 6 and stayed in the ashram since childhood. During his stay in the ashram, he also studied many religious texts. The election application filled by him during the elections revealed that Baba Balaknath is 12th pass, he did his primary education through National Institute of Open Schooling.
